Your Valuation Questions Answered

All you need to get started is your registration plate and current mileage. We will also ask you questions about the current condition and service history.

Our team uses an in-house valuation system that uses real time market data to give you an immediate price for your vehicle.

The only information you need is your registration number and current mileage, along with some details about your car or van. From this, we will be able to provide a guide price and start the process of selling or part exchanging your vehicle.

The price provided is guaranteed provided that all of the information regarding its current condition is correct. Our team will inspect the vehicle and provide an adjusted valuation if the vehicle is different to how it was described.

The vehicle value will be valid for 7 days from the day of quotation. If you book an appointment to sell your car or part exchange your vehicle within 7 days of your initial quotation, the valuation provided will be honoured (providing details given on the vehicle's condition are correct).

The finance on your vehicle will be settled using the value from the sale. Any remaining value will then be paid out to you or can be put towards the purchase of another vehicle if you choose to part exchange.

Unfortunately we cannot accept sales of vehicles in negative equity.

You can easily sell or part exchange your vehicle when you have PCP on your current one. We will help you settle the outstanding amount, and any value left can either go towards the purchase of your new vehicle, or be paid to you as part of the sale of your current one.

Please note that we are unable to help settle finance on vehicles in negative equity if you are looking to sell without part exchanging.

We're happy to help with your Hire Purchase sale or part exchange. Our team can help you settle outstanding finance on your current vehicle. Any remaining value will either be paid back to you if you are selling, or go towards your next purchase once your hire purchase finance has been settled.

If you are looking to sell your car, unfortunately we are unable to purchase cars on finance in negative equity. We can still accept part exchange cars or vans that have negative equity. You will need to pay the remainder of any outstanding finance plus any deposit towards your new vehicle.

We accept any car for part exchange or sale, and any van for part exchange only. All vehicles must have a minimum of 3 months MOT and be in a drivable condition

Yes you can part exchange your van to us - you will need to call our team on 01332 227227 to complete your part exchange. Unfortunately, we are unable accept sales for vans or commercial vehicles at this time.

You must be the registered owner of the vehicle to be able to sell or part exchange it.

We can accept part exchanges on a company car as long as the name of the company on the car’s V5C matches the name of the company on the invoice of the car being purchased. We are unable to accept sales of company cars at this time.

If you are legally entitled to a car on probate, you will need to transfer the name on the V5C to your own before we can continue with a sale or part exchange.

The vehicle that you are selling or part exchanging must be in a drivable condition in order for us to accept it.

Any vehicle being sold or part exchanged must have a minimum of 3 months MOT. You can check the MOT status of your vehicle here.

Unfortunately, you cannot sell or part exchange your vehicle without your V5, which needs to be registered to the owner's name.

If you can’t find your vehicle’s V5 document, it’s really easy to replace. Just contact the DVLA or visit their website.

You must contact the DVLA to start the process of transferring your car’s registration back to the original plate before obtaining a valuation. Once the HPI Check database has updated with your new car registration details, we will be able to provide you with a valuation for your car.

Our valuations are valid for 7 days, so please allow time for the plate transfer to be completed and your updated V5C to arrive before valuing your car and booking an appointment to sell your car. We can only offer valuations on the plate the vehicle is registered to, and your V5C, plate on the car, and owner details must all match when you come for your sale appointment.

We can offer you a part exchange on a vehicle with a private number plate, but unfortunately, we are unable to accept sales of cars with private plates.

Unfortunately, you can only get a valuation on the plate that the vehicle is registered to.

Once you have received a price for your part exchange or sale, you will need to bring the following information to complete the exchange:

  • Proof of ID (either a photocard driving licence with the address matching that on the V5C or passport and proof of address dated within the last 3 months)
  • V5C/Log Book (in the name of the person selling the vehicle)
  • MOT Certificate (with a minimum of 3 months remaining)
  • Spare Keys (if available)
  • Service History (if available)
  • A copy of your finance settlement letter (if you have outstanding finance to be cleared) OR a clearance letter if you have recently paid any finance on the vehicle.
  • Bank details, so we can make any payment due to you
