What is a list price?
A list price – sometimes called the recommended retail price (RRP) – is the amount a carmaker suggests buyers should pay for its brand-new vehicles. This isn't always the exact price you'll end up paying if you choose to buy a new car, however, because there might be market adjustments or fees that end up pushing the final price up or down slightly. You'll be able to find the list price when configuring a new car on the brand's website, or by looking at an official price list. It's also worth checking with the dealer you're buying from if the price for a particular model isn't clearly shown.
