Reserve & Collect is the convenient way to buy your next car. Search thousands of low mileage used cars from the comfort of your home, then simply reserve and arrange a date to collect online.
How does Reserve & Collect work
It’s simple – start your search online to find your car. You can reserve on the web and arrange a suitable date and time to view and collect from your nearest store or request a transfer from another store to your chosen store (transfer fee applies). You can also organise finance as well as part exchange your old car before you arrive in store.
Plus, it’s even easier to buy now thanks to our online collections portal. This lets you to complete all the necessary paperwork from home so, when you arrive at your nearest store, we'll just hand over the keys and you can start enjoying your new car straight away.

Reserve & Collect FAQs
You can only reserve one car or van at a time. If you change your mind and wish to reserve a different car or van, simply go to your MyMotorpoint account, click on the order and select Cancel. The Reservation will be cancelled, and your deposit refunded automatically within 5-7 days (depending on your card issuer).
Note: You will not be able to re-reserve the same car or van within 14 days of reserving it.
When you reserve a car or van, you will be offered a 7-day window in which to book an appointment. The window will be extended if you request a transfer based on the lead-time to move the vehicle between stores.
Reserve & Collect is available on all cars and vans. You can collect your car or van within 24 hours if it's available for Same Day Driveaway and you do not wish to move the car or van to a different store. If it's not currently available for Same Day Driveaway or you want to move it to a different store, you can choose a date and store that suits you.
Finance is available on cars and vans, subject to status. You can view or request a finance quote online or from one of the team either over the phone or when visiting one of our stores. All our options are flexible and tailored to you so you can find the right one for you or transfer from an existing finance arrangement.
A competitive part exchange valuation of your current vehicle can be quickly and easily requested on the web via our Value My Car service or offered over the phone and this is a valuation based on the description given. As part of the handover process, a member of the team will confirm the valuation is accurate. If the description of the car provided online or on the phone is not completely accurate this may result in the valuation offer changing on collection.
The £149 deposit is a reservation fee which takes the car or van off of our website and means it can't be purchased by another person. The £149 reservation fee is included in the total amount payable and is not an additional fee. If you have chosen to purchase your car using finance, the £149 reservation fee is included in the amount you wish to pay towards your deposit. This deposit is non-refundable unless upon inspection, test drive and collection of the vehicle, it didn't meet the Motorpoint Quality Standard.
You can take advantage of our 3-day insurance cover, provided in partnership with Tempcover. For just £19.99 you can start driving straight away. This can only be arranged on the day of your collection and needs to be set up before you drive your car. You'll then have time to shop around and get the best quote for your car. You'll receive details of how to activate your cover by email shortly before your collection.
- Arrive on time for your allocated collections slot
- Follow the signage directing you to the collections area or speak to the Receptionist in-store
- Wait to be seen by a member of the team who will direct you to your vehicle
- They will then complete the handover process either on a tablet or with a member of the team
- Get the keys and drive it away!
