We’re big on value here at Motorpoint – that’s why we constantly check to make sure we have unbeatable prices across our entire range of used cars. We compare the age, mileage, number of owners, make, model and specification of every vehicle we sell to make sure we’re giving you the best possible price.
But what if the unthinkable happens and you buy a vehicle from us and then find a similar car cheaper elsewhere within 7 days of placing an order? We're so confident in our prices that we have a Double the Difference Price Promise Guarantee.
If you find a similar car cheaper, simply tell us and we’ll refund double the difference between the price you paid and the cheaper car you've found. This is the Motorpoint Price Promise Guarantee, and it applies to all cars below £25,000.
To claim your refund simply contact your Sales Executive or your local store within 7 days of placing an order and before vehicle handover. The refund amount will be deducted from your invoice at the point of collection.
What counts as a similar car for the Motorpoint Price Promise?
You can read the full Motorpoint Price Promise T&Cs here, but the important things to consider are that the cheaper car you’ve found must be the same as your new car in terms of:
- Make
- Model
- Specification (trim level)
- Optional extras
- Colour
- Engine
- Gearbox
- Age (eg. if your car is a 21 plate, the cheaper car you’ve found must also be on a 21 plate)
- Condition
- Service history
It must have had the same number of previous owners or fewer and the mileage must be within 1,000 miles of your new car. It must also be sold by a reliable retail outlet or car supermarket – we can't accept vehicles sold by private sellers or sole traders. The Price Promise Guarantee applies to all cars below £25,000.
And remember, we can only accept claims made within 7 days of placing the order for your car (please note, this is not the same as your collection date unless you opt for same-day driveway). You must make the claim before vehicle handover.
How to claim against the Motorpoint Price Promise
All claims should be made by contacting your Sales Executive or your local store within 7 days of placing an order and before vehicle handover. Any successful claim will have the refund amount deducted from the invoice at the point of collection.
