Used KGM model range

Leading the lineup is the KGM Tivoli, the brand’s smallest car. It received a facelift when it stopped being a SsangYong and became a KGM, but still maintains its value-for-money proposition. It’s a rival to small SUVs like the Nissan Juke and Fiat 500X.

Move up a size and you get to the Korando, which is a Qashqai-sized SUV with a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes. Previous SsangYong-badged versions come with diesel and electric power, too.

The first KGM that’s exclusive to the new brand is the Torres. This has bold styling that really stands out on the road, and is available with all-wheel drive for the all-terrain capability its looks suggest. Standard equipment includes a large digital instrument cluster and a heated steering wheel.

The Rexton is KGM’s biggest car – it’s a huge SUV with proper 4x4 credentials and seven seats. It boasts a whopping 3,500kg towing capacity to make towing a horsebox or caravan a piece of cake.

The Rexton shares its underpinnings with the Musso pickup – a commercial vehicle that’s as tough as old boots.

FAQs

Yes, the KGM Torres EVX is the brand’s electric offering. It can travel up to 287 miles on a full charge yet, unlike many electric cars, it can still tow up to 1.5 tonnes.

Yes, every KGM and SsangYong available at Motorpoint can be financed on Hire Purchase (HP), and some can be financed through Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) as well. Every one of our car adverts features a handy finance calculator, where you can adjust the terms to suit you.

SsangYong was on the brink of bankruptcy a couple of years ago, and were bought out by Korea’s KG Group in November 2022. After that, SsangYong was rebranded to KG Mobility, more commonly known as KGM.

KGM cars are made in the brand’s homeland of South Korea. All of KGM’s current models come with a seven-year/90,000-mile warranty.

We haven’t heard any major problems with SsangYong cars, which means the rebranded KGM cars should be reliable as well. The Torres EVX is likely to be the most reliable model, as its electric powertrain has far fewer moving parts than a petrol or diesel engine.
