Easter is just around the corner and Motorpoint Chingford, located on Lea Valley Rd, has teamed up with Yardley Primary School Parent Teacher’s Association (PTA) to create some Easter cheer for the pupils of the Hawkwood Crescent school as well South Chingford Food Bank.
Over 400 pupils participated in a fun art activity to colour and design an Easter Egg which would then feature in a special Easter display at the Motorpoint Chingford store. For each of the easter eggs coloured in, Motorpoint donated an egg to South Chingford Food Bank and to all the pupils at Yardley Primary School.
Chris Evans, Headteacher at Yardley Primary School said: “We were delighted that Motorpoint has linked up with our Yardley’s PTA for this Easter initiative. The children had fun designing the Easter eggs but more importantly thanks to Motorpoint, the local foodbank will be receiving a substantial donation in chocolate for struggling families in our community.”
