Motorpoint kicks video strategy in to high gear with Rebecca Jackson partnership

We're excited to announce that automotive broadcaster and racing driver, Rebecca Jackson will be the newest face to join our YouTube channel, as we look to scale up our video content. 

As part of the partnership, Jackson and her production company, Moving Image, will work alongside Tim Rodie and our in-house content team to review a variety of new-to-market and used cars – making it easier for motorists to make an informed decision when shopping for their next car.  

We already have close to 9,000 subscribers and receive close to half a million views a month, but are keen to continue growing the Motorpoint YouTube channel and become a go-to resource for motorists when shopping for their next car. 

Discussing the partnership and why Motorpoint plans to continue investing in our video strategy, Tim Rodie, Head of Content at Motorpoint, said: “At Motorpoint, we pride ourselves on our no-nonsense car reviews and always try to focus on the things that matter most to motorists – things that make a car special, any flaws and whether it will suit their lifestyle.  

“As we continue to scale-up the number of reviews we publish, we’re so excited to have someone else producing content for our YouTube channel. Bringing Rebecca into the mix was an absolute no-brainer, her automotive background, knowledge and enthusiasm are exactly what we want to showcase on our channel and we’re lucky to be working with her.” 

With over 30,000 subscribers across her own social channels, Rebecca Jackson added: “Having watched Motorpoint’s presence on YouTube grow steadily over the last couple of years, I’m delighted to have the chance to work with the team during such an exciting period of growth.  

“I’ve always admired Motorpoint’s commitment to being the car buyer’s champion and it’s great to see this honest and fuss-free approach translate to their video content.”  

In addition to investing in long-form video content, we have also been exploring short-form video. Our TikTok channel, led by Mike Vousden and Ben Custard respectively, regularly receives over 100,000 views.
