What is a cabriolet?

A cabriolet is another word for a convertible – a car with a folding fabric or metal roof, letting you drive with the roof down and the wind in your hair – or with the roof up for full protection from the elements. Cabriolets can have two, four or five seats, and are usually based on a coupe version of a particular car. More recently, we've also seen cabriolet SUVs, such as the Volkswagen T-Roc cabriolet.
