What is a centre console?

A centre console is the middle part of a car's cabin, running between the front seats and up to the centre of the dashboard. It's usually where you'll find storage bins, cupholders, the gear lever, USB charging outlets and any wireless phone charging mats. Centre consoles may also house buttons for controlling driving modes, climate control systems, window demisters and more.
