Cars eligible for home collection
Some cars can be sold and collected via our home collection service. If your car is eligible, you'll be given the option to select home collection once you complete our sell your car form. This is how it works:
- Once you have selected your preferred collection date and time, you will receive an email from us confirming your booking.
- You'll also get an email from Motorpoint's selected collection partner, DriiveMe. This email advises the date/time of the scheduled collection, as well as the driver's name and contact number.
- At least 24 hours prior to collection, you will need to have added a few details and documents into your MyMotorpoint account in order for the collection to take place
- On collection day, a driver from DriiveMe will arrive at the address you have specified
- A quick test drive and review of your car (inside and out) will take place to ensure that the car matches the description you have provided
- If everything matches, the driver will confirm with our team and your money will be with you in less than 60 seconds
- On the off chance there is a discrepancy with your appraisal and the driver's review, a member of our team will call you to offer you a revised quote. If this is accepted, your money will be in your bank in under 60 seconds. There is no obligation for you to accept a revised quote.
