What is a panoramic sunroof?
A panoramic sunroof is a large pane of glass in the roof of your car. Compared to regular sunroofs, panoramic sunroofs usually stretch across both the front and rear seats, bringing loads of natural light into your car.
Most panoramic sunroofs are tinted and designed to reduce the amount of ultraviolet (UV) light that makes it into the car to avoid overheating the cabin. Many also include an opaque fabric shade that you can pull over the glass to block out the light if you don't feel like sunning yourself. Some panoramic sunroofs can be fully or partially opened, but many are fixed in place.
Here are our picks of some of the best cars with panoramic sunroofs.
