What is ABS (anti-lock braking system)?
ABS (anti-lock braking system) is a system that feathers the brakes when you press the pedal hard. This stops the wheels from locking up and skidding, stopping you more effectively and allowing you to maintain steering control. Brake heavily and you'll feel a judder through the brake pedal – this is the ABS kicking in.
