Motorpoint Price Promise Guarantee

If you find a like-for-like car for less at a competitor dealer within seven days of placing an order, but before handover, we’ll refund double the difference.

Offer Conditions 

  • Any claim against our Price Promise must be made within 7 days from order placement (receipt of deposit) and before vehicle handover.
  • Comparable cars only from a VAT registered professional motor dealers (car supermarkets, main or franchise dealers and large reputable independent dealers) will be considered. The retail price of the vehicle must be available to the general public.
  • The comparable car must be in stock, not in transit, and available for immediate purchase and collection.
  • The person making the claim must be buyer of the car as detailed on the Order Form/Sales Invoice
  • The cash price of the comparable car must be cheaper.  All other charges are excluded including admin fees, delivery charges, interest charges, PDI charges (pre-delivery inspection), part exchange, tax, MOT and warranty.
  • Price Promise Guarantee applies to all cars below £25,000
  • In the event of any dispute regarding these offer conditions, Motorpoint’s decision shall be final and we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
  • When comparing cars, the following must be the same:
    • Make and model
    • Variant (engine size, transmission etc.)
    • Factory fitted optional extras (and verified)
    • Exterior colour and paint type or finish e.g. metallic
    • Registration plate two-digit age identifier
    • Same number of keys
    • Same number of owners or less
  • The following criteria will also apply or be considered:
    • The dealer must be within 50 miles as measured postcode-to-postcode
    • Equivalent condition grade (paint condition, tyre wear etc.) and prepared to the same high standard as Motorpoint
    • Warranted mileage the same or lower by up to 1,000 miles
    • Warranty period must be a minimum of 3 months and be no more than 1 month less than the Motorpoint warranty
    • Similar service history
    • Minimum 3 months MOT
    • Interior colour

How to make the claim

  • All claims should be made by contacting your Sales Executive or your local store within 7 days of placing an order and before vehicle handover.

Refund

  • Any successful claim will have the refund amount deducted from the invoice at the point of collection.
