What is AEB (autonomous emergency braking)?
AEB (automatic emergency braking, also referred to as automatic emergency braking) is an ADAS feature that scans the road ahead for hazards and obstacles. If the AEB system detects an imminent collision, it can flash warnings to the driver and hit the brakes to avoid a crash or reduce its severity.
